Ahmad Hassan mussa Sa’edi : Cooperation with Iranian is a kind of uprising in Iraqi theater

The visit of the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Seyed Abbas Salehi, to Iraq is an opportunity to review the past of Iran-Iraq relations in the field of performing arts.

According to Iran Theater, Ahmad Hassan mussa Sa’edi, the cinema and stage consultant of the Iraqi Ministry of Culture and Tourism, who attend the Meeting of West Asian Countries, General Directors of performing Arts, said:” I came to Iran for the first time. I did not think Iran was so civilized and has an ancient heritage. Iran has really large, well-equipped and beautiful theater halls, including Theater shar and the Iranshahr hall, which I visited.”

 

“Iranian theater is very advanced. During these days, I saw two play in these beautifully equipped venues, and the audience's reception is very good in Iran.” Said he

He told about the memorandum of the Meeting "I believe that the memorandum will not end here, and will take further steps and will attract more countries. I think we can have a boom in the Iraqi theater with the cooperation of the Iranian theater Organization. I thank the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Department of the Performing Arts of Iran for creating such an opportunity.”

Sa'edi said Iran and Iraq have collaborated on some co- production .we hope to continue the collaboration since it would help us to create a civilian and cultural life. The cooperation has often been limited to Iraqi Kurdistan Theater. I hope this collaboration will take place with all the tribes living in Iraq. I also hope that all the peoples living in Iraq will be united so that all of us can take advantage of the Iranian culture and theater.”
