Use the cultural and artistic expertise

Iran Theater-Ali Akbar Abdolalizadeh : The visit of the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance of our country to Iraq is a good opportunity to develop cultural relations and raise the level of cooperation between the two countries in art and infrastructure of culture. Undoubtedly, the needs of neighboring countries, including the need for artistic media, are accelerating this process.

In today's cultural diplomacy, we find the importance of all neighboring countries equally. As important as Iran is Iraq, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, and so on. Therefor we have to look for common cultural spheres todays. Certainly, with the  cultural meetings and the development of cultural relations between Iran and these countries, the capacities of all countries will be revived.

So, one should not forget about holding special meetings and opportunities. One of the best practices in recent years was the meeting of the directors of the performing arts in West Asia in November 2015 at Tehran.  It has promising a start for cultural ties. This movement must continue.

One of the most interesting points at meetings with other countries authorities was their surprise about the specialized resources, especially the media in Iran. I remember the representatives of Afghanistan had been pampered by the amount of Persian plays published in Iran, saying that we are facing a shortage of Persian text in Afghanistan.

Their attention to the capabilities of the Iran theater website in the sense of news and databases was so much and we welcomed them to our office. We found that such capacity was not available in some of our neighbor countries, and they found that they could take advantage of our experience. Eventually we came to the conclusion that artists and directors of the performing arts in the neighboring countries considered Iran Theater Website as a useful source of news and information for theater and strengthened the ways of establishing lasting cooperation.

One of these directors, Ahmed Hassan mussa  Saa’edi, was an  Iraqi art consultant  at Cinema and Theater Department  , who visited Iran Theater  site center to develop media cooperation in this field.

"I enjoyed it very much, and there is a complete and amazing information about the Iranian theater in this site. Iran Theater is a window for introducing Iranian theater to the international community. " he said.

 

Now, Seyyed Abbas Salehi, the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance   visit to Iraq, is promising new developments in the field of cultural communication with Iraq. We hope that these partnerships will reach a continues achievement. God willing
