The Drama therapy can be very effective, useful and valuable

Shahram Karami,  General director of the performing arts center, attended at the second Drama Therapy seminar. He made a speech. He said  "The Drama Therapy is a topic which the necessity is strongly felt in our society, but there is always concern that, despite the people who are active in this field, and despite the large number of Drama graduated students, there is unfortunately a problem in the field of research, Such topics are less welcome. Of course, this should not be a reason to disregard The Drama Therapy and deny its necessities. When the subject of Drama therapy and psychodrama was introduced about ten or fifteen years ago, it was an interesting subject, In my opinion, but I always thought that  this flow could never create a stream in our society. And I was not optimistic at all. As it was said, if you do not have computer knowledge, you would be unlettered.”

“It might have been difficult for us to accept Drama therapy, but we find that this is really important nowadays.  The topics  has been developed  quickly, and artists and some others helped  in this field. We are now in a position where  drama Therapy is appeared  in various scientific and educational center, and we can see the  its effect in our stage plays. The Drama therapy can be very effective, useful and valuable” added Shahram karami.

At the end, Karami insisted: "We will definitely support the event, we hope to use Drama therapy in different areas and certainly the first step is to find the motivation via this  seminar. We hope that we can create good moments with  Drama Therapy  for ourselves and for our audience as well as for our theater.”
