I will direct the Fire

 

Iran Theater-Ahmadmohamad Esmailie: Dr. Mohammad Reza Khaki is a translator, theater director, who plays an effective role in teaching young students at universities. He has directed different drama. He got Ph.D. in drama from Sorbonne University in Paris. He is a lecturer in   Drama at the University of fine Art and Tarbiat Modarres University. He has worked in the theater for more than thirty years.

"I’ve wanted to perform  Fires at Vahdat Hall . The Fire is written by  Wajdi Mouawad, a contemporary Lebanese-canadian writer Last year the book was published in third edition. In this play, the author deals with the political and social situations in the region and presents the sixty-year history of the life of a Lebanese middle class family. The main character is Nawal Marwan.

And when the will of Nawal Marwan, the mother of the twin children had been read, it raised  some questione about twin birth and their past: who was their father? How have They been born out of the homeland, in Canada ?

Letters from Nawal are given to each of the children, one of the letters must be received  to a father who believes that he is dead, and another letter should be received to a brother whom they didn’t know  him . There is a sea of questions and pain.” he said about  his recent  works  to Iran Theater.

Dr. Khaki continued, "I recently translated Mother Departs and Exit by Tadeusz Rozewicz. Both books were presented at the Tehran Book Fair.”
