According to Iran Theater, Naser Malek Motiei died at the age of 88 after suffering a severe illness in the hospital. He starred in numerous films and television shows. He was also active in theater at the begining of his career.
“At that time Dr. Walla, who was studying theater in the UK, directed a play of Jean-Paul Sartre's "Dirty hands", which I, along with Fakhri Khorvash, Malek Nasr performed. “Dirty Hands” was translated by Jalal al-Ahmad, a well-known author. Dr. Walla then directed "Zarrin Samarghand Road", which was about Haron Al-Rashid. The role of Haron Al-Rashid was supposed to play by Mohammad Ali Jafari. He was busy with another play, so they offered that role to me. I accepted. I worked with actors such as Mr. Wahdat, Sarang, Mrs. Tahmineh, Mr. Tabesh and Mani Mozafa. After 16 days the Theater Hall fired. One night, Dr. Walla told me: "Now that the theater Hall has been burnt and you have a one-year contract with us, let’s play another one." I accepted. The show "Professor Susol" went on stage for a year and a half. At that time I made a distance from cinema. Then I performed in another play. I had performed in three or four play in total. After that, in 1958, I acted in the movie called " The Runaway Bride", filmed in Ramsar. I immediately acted in another film called "Breakout Spell". "Breakout Spell" was premiered at the sideline of Berlin Film Festival.” Said he about acing in theater.
Naser Malek Motiei's famous films include The Crossroad of Events(1955), Gheysar(1969), Toghi(1969), Baba Shamal(1971), The Imperilled(1983). His latest Film is Negar's Role(2014).
