I will be on stage in Europa

Mehran Ranjbar is an actor, director  and playwright. He has been working in theater in past years. He directed the French Café two years ago, he starred in successful plays like  ”paalt” and   “Showayk soldier” last year.

According to Iran Theater ,Mehran Ranjbar is a graduate of dramatic literature. From the age of 14, he started acting with the Blind War directed by Behrouz Gharbipour. Mehran Ranjbar has worked with such great figures as Shahla Mirbakhtiar, Mohammad Khaki, Masood Delkhah and Khosrow Ahmadi. He, along with Majid Rahmati and others, set up a theater group. Ranjbar has gained popularity in the role of Kianoush in T.V series singing in the Rain. He’s had a lot of play  and series in his resume such as Tawan, Noon and Reyhon, 5 km to Paradise, the sound of rain, the banquet of Touba, Mr. Manager, the end of the line, the Paris Café, Richard III, a flower branch for Wartan and etc.

 

He said about his recent activities:” Recently I’m busy writing a single-role play. I supposed to perform it in Canada, Austria and Germany from the mid June. Then I’ll be on stage in Iran. I’ll play this role, and this character is a well-known figure in the field of science. I've started the exercises for a while. "

 

He noted about his interest in the theater: I'm more interested in directing than acting. Mostly I have directed my own play. After Paallet, I decided to direct a new play. During these years I would concentrate more on theater and accept only good roles in cinema and television.”

 

"It's fascinating and challenging for me," he said in the end about the different roles he plays.
