Reza Bahrami: The family photo will be on stage at the Sangelaj Theater Complex

The family photo is written by late Mahmood Ostad Mahammod, will be on stage at the Sangelaj Theater Complex.

 

According to Iran Theater, about the play Reza Bahrami said:” The review of the family photo took place on May 29, and if there are no specific problems, this play will be on stage from June 10th.”

Reza Bahrami insists that it’s first time the family photo by Mahmood ostad Mohammad is performed.

He continued:” The play was prepared in 2003 by the late Mahmood Ostad Mahammod for stage, but for some reason it was not possible to perform, and I try to direct the family photo, which focuses on women's problems and concerns, and poverty.”

 

Mahmood Ostad Mohammad was an actor and playwright, in cinema he is known for Farman (1982), Enfejar (1980) and Jong-e Athar (1979).

 

Reza Bahrami announced the cast that includes Parasto Gholestaneh,Mehran Imambaksh, Amir Adlpoor.

About the choice of the family photo he said:” The first reason is a tribute to the late Mohammad Mahmood Ostad Mohammad and the social perspective that he had on the issues of the modern society. In the works of this artist, social issues are important, and I, as a person who engages in artistic activity, have always considered these important issues as a concern. Another reason I decided to choose  this play is to support Iranian writers and artists. Based on the slogan of this year, which was presented by the Supreme Leader with the title of supporting Iranian goods, my task is to use good Iranian plays.”
