" The mousetrap" symbolizes the loss of innocence of human beings

The "Mousetrap" directed by Siavash Asad is  on stage at 22.30 p.m at the Shahrzad Theater complex every day. Sahar NezamDost, the actress of "the mouse trap" believes that the play is a symbol of the lost innocence of human beings.

 

According to Iran Theater, Sahar NezamDost says about his role and changes to the original text: I should have read the original text and this was necessary for me. Molly was a multidimensional and fascinating character to me. Sometimes a lover, sometimes a murderer,a victim, a manager. I tried to make acquiescence, and it happens to a lot of actors who have a sense of empathy.”

 

The Mousetrap is a murder mystery play by Agatha Cristie. The Mousetrap opened   in london’s west End in 1952 , and has been running continuously since then.

 

Sahar NezamDost explains the characteristics of Christie's work and Molly's role: I feel that Molly has a major dimension. In a dialogue,she said you cannot punish me for the sake of a childhood. The karma will happen to Molly. Molly has innocence, but she wants to say that we all human beings have done something bad  even before the age of three. Molly does not know why she is punished! Truly, she may not have been guilty.  She has misunderstandings.”

She said about jealousy and its effects on human life: jealousy always comes from complexities and defects, and it has different degrees, and even some people can kill themselves from jealousy.
