My priority is theater

Iran Theater- Narges Amini, an actress and director, has been active in the theater for many years. She holds a Bachelor degree in Drama from the Faculty of Arts and Architecture. She has collaborated with well-known directors such as Ghotbuddin Sadeghi and Nader Borhani Marand.

 

She has  acted in  a variety of plays such as “Seven Lost Tribes "by Ghotbedin Sadeghi, Night co-directed by Narges Amini and Leili Aajtehran, Trigonometric equation directed by herself, Hamlet by Majid Hamedani, Maryam and Mardavij by Behzad Farahani.She wrote paper House which had been on stage. She has some appearance in cinema and T.V series, also. She acted in some famouse series like”Setayesh 2”, “Whisper”,” Until happiness is not a way” and etc.

 

Narges Amini said about her recent works:” My priority and concern has always been theater, But in recent years the theater has been more concern about making money. Therefore In the plays, more cinema actors are used. So, despite my twenty-year experience in the theater, I decided to name myself as a prolific actress with a more activity in cinema and television, for theater audiences. Then I will accept more plays. My latest play was Theatral Business by Roozbeh Hosseini which we had four month rehearsal but It had only 13 performances. I got the minimum money. ”

 

She said about playing in well-received  plays:” I have not been offered this type of plays, and  in recent years ,most of the work I've played ,has not had a lot of financial gain. Now a lot of my classmates who have a lot of theater experience and after the graduation they acted in T.V and cinema , they have a better financial situation”.

She continued: "I'm currently playing in  Ramin Abbasi ‘s  conjuration.  I play two roles, an elf  and a young woman, and I have a very different experience.”
