To Establish the Theater Teachers Association at the Theater Forum

More than 200 theater lecturers have requested the establishment of a theater teachers' associations to the new board of directors of the Theater Forum.

According to Iran Theater, in the final days of the spring and the first days of the new Board of Directors of the Theater Forum, the theater lecturers addressed the board the request for the establishment of the Theater Teachers' associations for the third and last time. Attached to the new request was the previous requests, and 213 theater teachers were signed the new one.

The Teachers, in separate letters, had asked the   theater forum to set up a theater teacher’s associations twice in last year which, despite the drafting of the statutes and the appointment of the members of the Forum, did not allow them to set up a society.

The theater Forum  has 14 associations of theatrical professions and, according to a representative of the Teachers Society to the Iranian Theater, the society has been asking for a fifteenth associations with a well-documented motivation and legitimacy, from  last year, but they  has always faced opposition from the board of directors. With the new Board of Directors as well as the promises made by the teacher society, for the last time and this time as a duty and not a request,  they warns the theater forum about the theater teacher’s associations.
