Iran Theater-Ghotbeddin Sadeghi, the director of the 15th Sagez Kurdish International Kurdish Theater Festival in Saqez city , informed about the announcement of the festival and added: The festival will be held from November 17-21, 2108.

Ghotbedin Sadeghi (born April 23, 1952) in Sanandaj, Iran is a Kurdish-Iranian theatre director, playwright, stage and film actor.
Ghotbuddin Sadeghi stated: " The 15th Sagez Kurdish International Theater Festival will be held with the assistance of the Directorate General of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Kurdistan, and in cooperation with the provincial governorate, the Directorate for the Performing Arts of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Deputy Governor and Governorate of Saqez City, Municipality and Islamic Council of Saqez, and the Kurdistan Performing Arts Association.
Referring to the goals and priorities of the festival, he pointed out: Among the goals and priorities of this edition of the Kurdish Theater Festival are the attention paid to Kurdish literature and language as a rich backing to encourage playwirghts to write dramatic texts based on originality and value. Cultural affairs of the kurdish regions emphasizing the national and Islamic heritage, and a look at traditional culture / customs in these regions, creating an appropriate cultural space for the exchange of creative and innovative ideas among artists in the public, Creative reproducing of the folkloric ,national and religious saga and traditions through the theater, Special attention and recognition of young talent in various fields of theater and support of these talents, efforts and support for the public performance of dramatic productions in the Cordanian regions of Islamic Iran in Kurdish language.
He continued the main condition of attending the festival is to present the play in Kurdish. Each theatrical group, with the terms and conditions issued by the Department of the Performing Arts of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, can apply to attend the festival from all over the country.
He said the festival does not accept works that have been performed on the other festivals .
