Little Prince was premiered

The director of The Little Prince, in another part of the ceremony, invited theater researcher Mansur Khalaj to talk about the one hundred and thirty anniversary children’s theater.

Iran Theater-The opening ceremony of the play "The Little Prince" directed by Anahita Ghanizadeh was attended by Shahram Karami, Director General of the Performing Arts  Center and  Ehteram Boroumand, Davood Rashidi’s wife.

At the ceremony, which coincided with the birthday of the late Davood Rashidi,Shahram Karami, Director of the Performing Arts Center , Mansour Khalaj and Karim Akbari Mobarakeh also attended.

At the ceremony, Anahita Ghanizadeh, director of the show, addressed the audience: "We are very happy that the opening of the show is synchronous with the birthday of the late teacher of theater and cinema, and we are honored that his dear wife, Mrs. Boromand, is present at this ceremony today. These days we face another occasion and it is the centenary of the children's and adolescent theater in Iran. In this past century, many artists and scholars have tried to improve the country's children's theater, which deserves to take this opportunity and appreciate the efforts of all these loved ones.

The director of The Little Prince, in another part of the ceremony, invited theater researcher Mansur Khalaj to talk about the one hundred and thirty anniversary children’s theater. Khalaj stated: The Iranian Children's and Youth Theater was recognized in 1297  Hijri by the late Jabbar Baghcheh Ban.  Everyboy knows His role in the Iranian childhood and adolescence  theater, and his name will  always remember in the history of the theater .

The Little Prince is based by the book with the same title. The little prince first published in April 1943, is a novella, the most famous work of French aristocrat, writer, poet, and pioneering aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

The novella is one of the most-translated books in the world and has been voted the best book of the 20th century in France. Translated into 300[3] languages and dialects  selling nearly two million copies annually, and with year-to-date sales of over 140 million copies worldwide, it has become one of the best-selling books ever published.

 Then the audience watched  the first performance of this play. The little Prince goes to stage at 18:45 P.M at Honar Hall.
