Jury of The first Ahwaz national Theater festival was introduced

Iran Theater- Nasser Chenani, secretary of Ahwaz first national Theater festival, announced the festival's jury.

Nasser Chenani, secretary of the first national festival of theater Ahwaz, said: The jury of this festival is Ghotbuddin Sadeghi, Attaullah Kupal and Asghar Hemmat.

Ghotbedin Sadeghi born April 23, 1952) in Sanandaj, Iran is a Kurdish-Iranian theatre director, playwright, stage and film actor. Asghar Hemmat (born December 18, 1952, Shiraz) is an actor as well as TV, cinema and theater makeup artist. He studied Theater at the Faculty of Fine Arts, the University of Tehran. In 2002, he managed to receive First Grade Order of Art in Acting from Iran’s Council of Artist Evaluation.Besides acting, he has worked as a makeup artist in various movie productions.He has appeared in several movies, including ‘Out of Range’ (1987), ‘In the Storm's Path’ (1988), ‘The Havana Brief’ (2005), ‘A Sugar Cube’ (2009) and ‘Insomnia’ (2009). Attaullah Kupal is a well-known theater professor.

 

Emphasizing to the quality of plays, Nasser Chenani stated: Ahwaz first national Theater festival will be held on July 22-30, for 7 days in the Imam Reza Halls of the Oil Township and Talaar Aftb Complex   at Lashkar Blvd.

He added: The closing ceremony with the presence of artists and art directors and provincial and state officials in Ahwaz city will be held on Sunday, July 30.
