Scarecrow is loosely based on "Chahar Sandoogh" (Four Boxes )by Bahram Bayazi, a a critically and popularly acclaimed film director, playwright, theatre director, screenwriter, film editor, film producer, and researcher .Four Boxes translated into English by Mohammad Reza Ghanoonparvar and John Green.
Mehrdad Khameni is directed “Scarecrow”.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Mehrdad Khameni , criticized Beyzai's view of the 1966 worker and productive forces as a diminutive view of the middle class intellectuals that, In the best of terms with compassion and sympathy, the position of this class is dimmed into real social transformations. He acknowledged that in his dramaturgy and interpretation he made every effort to highlight the historical role of "Siah" as a symbol of the workers in the community. Then he pointed to the brilliant history of the workers' struggle in Iran since 1285 and the first achievements of Tehran printing press workers in 1296, with the eight-hour law of overtime, overtime pay and better health conditions at the workplace. He dedicated the scarecrow to the Iranian workers in the hope of their further success.
Ghazaleh Kanaanpanah, Avishan Beykai, Mohammad Mostafa Malek, Aban Askari and Atefeh Amini play roles.
The Scarecrow will be on the stage every night except Saturdays at 19:00 in Entezami Museum located in Gheterariye, Andersugou Blvd, opposite Kaveh Boulevard, Ahmadi Avenue, No. 28.
