Nader Borhani Marand: Our most important task is to be a good selector and organizer

Iran  Theater-The first Press meeting of the  27^th Fadjr International  Theater  Festival  with the presence of Nader Borhani Marand, the festival's Director, Hamid Nili, CEO of the Iranian Dramatic  Arts Society, Saeed Asadi, Director of the City Theater Complex,  festival head co-organizers and a group of media representatives, was held at the City Theater Complex some hours ago.

Nader Borhani Marand is the well-known director and playwright of theater, who this year is the director of the most important and biggest theater event in the country: Fadjr International Theater Festival. He said that he was a media person before became an actor, director, playwright and now  director  of the festival. And most of all, He considered himself a media person.

 

He then mentioned the sketching steps of the application form of the Fadjr International Theater Festival , and said: "In fact, this call comes from two months of boredom, constant consultation, and talks with expert people. Of course this call has an attachment. If we look at the visionary, this call is the logical continuation of  festival in recent years, which I also love most because I feel that in the last few years, the Fadjr Theater Festival, with all its shortcomings, is coming to the  maturity.

The director of the Fadjr Theater Festival added: "Another thing was that if we wanted to satisfy the   public  - which is very important to me - we should respect all guilds and fields. It is the right of all  guilds and classes that feel they are respected in the biggest theater event of the year. That's why we considered this issue. We wish for many years that the Fadjr  Theater Festival will be a  resultant of public performance of the year. And this year, fortunately, I think it's the most complete edition that fulfills this long-standing dream of Iranian theater.

He added: What is our task? We concluded that this year we have two tasks: Our most important task is to be a good selector and organizer.. For this, I say again, , I emphasize that my responsibility doubles as our focus is on choosing the correct mechanism with greater accuracy.

The Director of the  27^th Fadjr International  Theater  Festival, reaffirming the importance of respect in  the festival, stated:  I emphasize  that in  festival we must be the organizer  who  respect the audience, respect the artist, respect the guests and everyone . That's why I think if we are 20% successful in this area,  We did a lot of work. Of course, our goal is to be  100 % successful.

37th Fadjr International Theater Festival will be held   on  11-23 February 2019.
