Iranshahr  Theater Complex  hosted the head of the parliament's cultural committee

Iran Theater-Ahmed Mazeni, the head of the parliament's cultural committee watched Nima Dehghan’s The Silence of The sea , on Friday, August 3.

Iran Theater-Ahmed Mazeni, the head of the parliament's cultural committee watched Nima Dehghan’s  The Silence of The sea , on Friday, August 3.

Ahmed Mazenni, who is also People's Representative of Tehran, Ray, Shemiranat, Islamshahr and Pardis in the parliment ,  watched the performance along with Shahram Karami, Director General of the Performing Arts Center.

Reza Gouran wrote the play  which is loosely based on a French novel written during the summer of 1941 and published in early 1942 by Jean Bruller under the pseudonym "Vercors". Published secretly in German-occupied Paris, the book quickly became a symbol of mental resistance against German occupiers. Jean-Pierre Melville directed The Silence of The sea based on this novel in 1949.

Shahram Haghighatdost, Alireza Aara and  Khaterh Asadi plays the key roles.

This play has gone on stage from Thursday, July 20, at 21:15 P.M in The Kermani Narezzadeh Hall.
