It is very difficult to play realistic roles

Iran Theater- Women in" Richard III will not take place" are victimized and sentenced to death, because of the authoritarian circumstances of the government. Azar Kharazmi played Tania, Meyerhold’s wife. She had a true understanding of Tania’s challenges so she played the role correctly.

After Years being away from Iran,She experienced two successful performances on stage:Amiz Ghalamdoun and " Richard III will not take place.

She thinks that her role, Tania is the victim of system, and at the end of the day when she gives birth to her strange child, she also disappears and the ruling system does not allow her to survive. This death occurs right when Tania is waiting to give birth to the creature and, in fact, In fact, Tanya represents the people who lived in despotism and suffocated with their smallest protest.

She believes that Tania's character also has weaknesses and is not absolute gray one.

Richard III Will Not Take Place,’ a play written by Paris-based Romanian-French playwright, poet and journalist Matei Visniec, 60, had gone on stage at Mowlavi Theater in Tehran. “The play is about Russian theater director, actor and producer Vsevolod Emilevich Meyerhold” (1874-1940) whose provocative experiments dealing with physical being and symbolism in an unconventional theater setting made him one of the pioneers in modern international theater.

During the ‘Great Purge’ in the Soviet Union in 1936-1938, Meyerhold was arrested, tortured and finally executed in February 1940.The play is Visniec’s free adaptation of one of the last nightmares of Meyerhold, before he was killed in prison under the orders of the dictator Joseph Stalin (1878-1953).

Azar Kharazmi believes that Tania is a personality which created by Visniec and

Meyerhold marries twice in his real life.

She said about appearances in plays such as Amiz Ghalamdoun and Richard III:” I love both of these characters. After returning to Iran, I agreed with Rouhollah Jafari, director, about Richard III will not take place , And because of the time interval between the practice and performances ,I accepted Hadi Marzban invitation .Then  I acted in Amiz Ghalamdoun and had an interesting experience . Meanwhile, I was interested in playing a realistic role to start acting again. It seems to me that realistic  roles are very difficult and need a lot of work.”
