Iran Theater- Hooshangh Gholmakani,  a veteran critic and journalist, wrote a note about Parsa piroozfar’s A summer day which is on stage .He believes that A summer day is a  spectacular and hearty play about a Comic tragedy situation.

He wrote:

“When a simple and desolate man finds one and, in order to escape suicide, he decides to tell his life story "briefly" for a stylish man who claims to have gone from vanity to despair, director has been using the darkness and the brightness of the scene, like the fade in-fade out in the cinema ,to compress a long time.

Removing the word and replacing the music with the change in mise-en-scène (the narrator's place) and changing the mode of the second man, provokes the long and tediousness of that narrative  through the same short and sequential fade in –fade out.

The second time, when the naive man wants to tell his life story for a beautiful young woman briefly and to influence her, the same music starts to play. when man starts to tell his story with the same moves, we think the director still wants to use the same trick and the same short and sequential fade in –fade out. In a classical narrative structure (a summer’s day remindes of classical comedies), this is a logical expectation, but   director surprises the audience and he cuts at the very beginning of the second narrative.

"A Summer Day" is written by Sławomir Mrożek and directed by Parsa Piroozfar is a spectacular and hearty performance of a tragic-comic situation.

Mrozek’s  text is brilliant  that our theater needs today, directing  of Parsa Piroozfar and the acting (especially Reza Behboudi) harmonizes with the text and answers both tragic and comic atmospheres of play. This is one of those shows that can be recommended.”

"A summer Day" directed by Parsa Piroozfar began with a massive audience reception on, July 16, at the Iranshahr Theater Complex. "A summer Day " directed by Parsa Piroozfar with Reza Behboudi, Parsa Piroozfar and Sogol Falatian began public performance in the auditorium of Dr. Nazerzadeh Kermani .A summer Day is written by Sławomir Mrożek and translated by Parsa Piroozfar.
