Dariush Asadzadeh, a pioneer stage and cinema actor, in a conversation with Iran Theatre, while expressing his deep grief on the death of Ezatollah Entezami, an influential and unforgettable actor of Iranian theater and cinema, spoke briefly in describing him and said: Today, when we talk about Entezami and his art, perhaps his position as one of the greatest actors in the history of Iranian theater and cinema seems to be very simple. But the fact is that part of the path to the formation of his artistic personality, which dates back to his youth years, is unclear. We talk about a period where certain historical conditions dominated the country, and the everyday life of the people had also a lot of troubles, whether it was in those circumstances that someone wanted to pursue artistic activities. I mean the years of World War II, which ultimately ended in the occupation of the country by the Allies, and made very hard days for Iranian. It is necessary to recount these conditions in order to know that under such circumstances, such great artist as Ezzatollah Entezami loved art and in such a difficult conditions he continued to achieve his goal.”

He added:” Unfortunately, There is not accurate information about this part of his life, and sometimes we see that contradictory narratives have said.”

I was classmate with him at the acting school and the late Abdolhossein Nooshin had taught us acting, and I saw the strange enthusiasm for acting in him. Entezami was a young, lean, unobtrusive, rude, affectionate and humble man, that his only love was theater.”

Asadzadeh said at the end:” I remembered he loved to be an announcer in theater. Because it was widespread, he became famous. When Abdolhossein Noushin launched Farhang  theatrical Hall,  Entezami  joined him and  his reputation increased. He was one of the most distinguished students of Noushin.”
