I insist "The Book of Jungle" to perform at the main Hall of City Theater Complex

Iran Theater- Ramin Kohan , Director of "The  Booh of  Jungle," says he has designed the show for the main  hall of City Theater Complex and believes that if the  show has a good public performance at the main hall of City Theater Complex, it  will also be profitable.

Based on the famous story of "The Jungle Book" by Rudyard Kipling, The show went on stage at 3rd day of Tehran_Mobarak International Puppet Festival and welcomed by the critics and audiences.

60-min play has a mix technique. The story is about Mowgli. Bagheera" a caring black panther sees an abandoned child. He looks for his real parents but can’t find them. He brings the baby child to a Wolf pack and they accept to foster him. They call him "Mowgli". He lives and grows up with wolfs but the tiger who is Sultan of Jungle has an old hatred towards humans…

Ramin Kohan says about the Show, "I think it's one of the most ambitious works that I've done over the years which I've been  working in the Puppet Theater. Of course, I had this ambition, because we wanted to do something that has not been discussed before in Iran. Unlike most of the children's play in Iran, which are very small in production, we have been working to create a glamorous work for children.”

He continues: One of the things that I've always been so fond of that was adopting popular animations into the play, and I read an essay on successful animations that adopted to theater in America and Europe. After reading that , I became more eager to do that. Finally, in my searches and researches, I was inspired by the story "The book of Jungle", as well as some short stories  about  "The book of Jungle”, which were  released as a  comic Book after  Disney animation production, and eventually I was determined to produce it.”

He also said: "In current situation, the task of an artist is to work more than usual, and if he wants to entertain  the audience, he should entertain people at  the  best and if he wants to give  them a thoughtful message , give them a good idea.”
