Seyed Ali Salehi to Open Death and penguin

Iran Theater- Seyed Ali Salehi will open "Death and Penguin" directed by Payam Dehkordi on Sunday, September 2th.

Seyed Ali Salehi,Iranian author and poet, will open the show "Death and Penguin" at the Chahrsoo hall The City Theater Complex at 20:30 P.M.
 

       Andrey Kurkov‘s Death and penguin is adopted by Mohamad Charmshir. Death and the Penguin is a novel by Ukrainian author Andrey Kurkov. Originally published in 1996 in it was translated and published in English in 2001. It is a bleak, satirical work with surreal elements and dark humour, and is also credited by The Independent's Lesley Chamberlain as being one of the texts to "get Russian literature going again after the post-Soviet hiatus".

 Death and  penguin is the latest production of  Omid Theater Group . The group began its activity in 2008 with the management of  Payam Dehkordi with the aim of creating the necessary space between the academic theater and the professional theater, an appropriate setting for the introduction of new faces and talented, and the development of an appropriate mechanism for the production of private theater.
