At the closing ceremony of the 17th Tehran-Mobarak International Puppet Festival:
3 special prizes awarded
A video message from Seyed Mojtaba Hosseini, the deputy director of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, was broadcast at the ceremony. He spoke in this message about the attractiveness of the Puppet world and said: "This festival is a celebration and narrations of life stories.
Iran Theater- The Closing ceremony held in with the presence of Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini, art deputy director of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Shahram Karami, Genreal Director of the Performing Arts Center, Hamid Nili, , Karim Saremi, , and a large number of theater artists from the country. "You may know me as an actress in the cinema and theater, but I started with performances at puppet world many years ago," said Setareh Eskandari as the host of closing ceremony. She continued: I worked with various professors, including Maryam Saadat and Marzieh Boroumand, and especially Donya Fanizadeh. I'm glad that Mrs. Boroumand trusted me.”

Then the message of Shahram Karami, Director of the Performing Arts Center, was also broadcast. In this message, he also thanked Ms. Marzieh Boroumand for her efforts and said: "We miss the puppets, and it is good that the conditions for the fulfillment of our dreams are provided." I hope that this celebration will be held every year with further prosperity . we have visualized the blue skies of puppets this week.”
Then Several Veteran Artists were honored at the ceremony as Vahid Koosravi from Kermanshah,Fereshteh Ebrahimi,Ali Ramezani. Then all of directors, who attended at festival with their works, were honored. Marzieh Boroumand then announced three special prizes:
1- Special award due to the success in creating fantastic and amazing images and creating a pure puppet atmosphere commensurate with the Iranian atmosphere. To Maryam Minaei(E-Horse)
2- The second prize is presented to Hussein Abbasi (Scarecrow) for beautiful illustration and use of indigenous rituals in the environment.
3- The third prize is to be presented to Mani Group Theater( Simin and Farzad ) due to the collective, creative and harmonious effort.
