Shahram Karami: Theater is an artistic service

 

Iran Theater- At the annual meeting of Hoze Honari’s art department officials, Shahram karami, said the theater is an artistic service.

The annual meeting of  Hoze Honari’s art department officials was held on September3 and 4, with the presence of the Director of the performing arts Center, a group of Hoze Honar’s officials, Directors of the Ministry of Culture and Guidance and Hoze Honari’s officials.

Shahram Karami said: "Every cultural and artistic organization has its own programs. We need to coordinate more and more together. It is very common for such a meeting to be held in our country. But the various issues expressed in these meetings are less likely to be run.”

He went on to discuss the potential of Theater and said:” Theater as an official art network can provide artistic services to the audience. We usually avoid the term "art services". While artistic services are a kind of public service which is created for the audience through art. We usually do not look at the art as a Service. We only consider the different branches of the artistic aspect of Theater. What are the capabilities of a theater as an art service? The artistic service of the theater can be considered as an opportunity for convergence between the audience and theater artists, which is formed through a product called Art show.”

In the end, Karami said: "If we cannot reach the necessary coordination, it will be very difficult to achieve the goal we are pursuing. As a result, more coordination between the artistic sphere and the Ministry of Culture and Guidance in the field of theater is very necessary.”
