Bahram Afshari joint "Mississippi Dies Seated"

Iran Theater- Bahram Afshari, famous stage and cinema actor joint to restage "Mississippi Dies Seated" by  Homayoun Ghanizadeh.

The piece, which to restage on October, will have Vishka Asayesh, Sajjad Afsharian, Babak Hamidian, Siamak Safari and Dariush Movafagh  and Bahram Afshari as cast.

"Mississippi Dies seated"received Nooshin Medal, and Homayoun Ghanizadeh was named best director  at 16^th Iranian  Theater critics and writers  Association festival.

Homayoun Ghanizadeh has directed "Antigone", "Waiting for Godot", "Agamemnon" and … "Caligula" sold 10bn rials.

The show was welcomed by critics and sold more than two billion tomans , broke the record and became the bestselling  show in history. The media wrote articles with titles such as "The show that  made record  and blew up the box office", "Historical record of a show".The media described this show as the most important theatrical event, which shows the rise  of  theater audience and the rise of theater position in the  life of Iranian families.
