The dogs and my mother's bones will run

Iran Theater- Mojgan Khaleghi has been focusing more in directing in recent years, and she recently completed her latest documentary film. She directed "You Are Busy dying",a successful play, at  The City Theater Complex lately. Last year she acted in Blind Owl.

 She also worked with famous stage director and movie makers like Ebrahim Hatami Kia,Mohamad Yaghoubi and Hadi Marzban.

She said about her recent activities:” I have written a play titled "The dogs and my mother's bones “and I am engaged in negotiations with several venues for the performance. The theme is about the Balkan wars in the early 1990s, focusing on women's issues in wars and the challenges and injuries they suffer. In writing, Mohammad Charmashir served as an advisor to me.”

She  went on to say:” I prefer to not play in the plays that I direct, and all my concentration  is on the directing.”

She said about the choice of the subject of war for the play:” Wars and dealing with human relationships during the war is a serious concern. In wars, women and children are also the main victims. Addressing the issue of Iran and Iraq war is a challenge that I would not like to face.”
