Celebration of the 100th anniversary of theater

Iran Theater-Celebration of the 100th anniversary of Children Theater and  Jabbar Baghcheban’s retrospect will be held on the fourth day of the festival in Hamadan.

According to public relation of 25th International Children and Youth Theater Festival, celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the children theater and the celebration of Jabar Gardabaghbban will be held on  November 23rd  and the fourth night of the festival,  in Hamedan Kanon cinema at 19:00 P.M.

Varied and fascinating sections, such as a perform about  Jabbar Baghcheban's monologue , a documentary about the life of this highly influential artist,   a show based on a play by Jabar Baghcheban,  which published many years ago in Shiraz, and ... are considered for the ceremony.

Mirza Jabbar Asgarzadeh famously known as Jabbar Baghtcheban was an Iranian inventor of Iranian Azerbaijani ethnicity. He is well known as someone who established the first Iranian kindergarten and the first deaf school in Tabriz. He was also the inventor of Persian language cued speech. He was the father of the late Iranian composer Samin Baghcheban.
