The Choice of proper Content is Important

Iran Theater- Anahita Qanizadeh directs “Little prince” at 25^th  International Children and Youth Theater Festival.  “Little Prince” went on Stage at Tehran’s Honar Hall on July.

She said about the status of technology in today children theater today:” The use of tools and techniques is technology, but what matters more is the choice of content. Selecting content also depends on Knowing the audience. When we know the audience and  their ages, we can  prepare a  content properly. And This year the shows are divided into small children, children and teenagers groups at the festival , so The director is determined to select the content and decide on the form of its performance.

Then, we know exactly how we can decide what content is appropriate for the audience and what we should approach that content. What technology use to update it.”

The childern has grown up in a technology-rich environment today. She thought about  application of technology to attract the audience:” Certainly, the use of technology is necessary. But we must also consider one issue. We have been working with children and playing different games with them, and we noticed that the tendency of the child to play these games has no difference from the past. In fact, today's children have no physical activities, and we force them to be active. Today lifestyle isolates children . In the theater, we have the ability to easily communicate  with the children with a few simple light and does not even need a special technique.”
