Iran Theater-‘Breadcrumb’ is a two characters show which is directed by Koroush Soleimani and Anahita Eqbalnezhad and Reza Behboudi

Iran Theater-‘Breadcrumb’ is a two characters show which is directed by Koroush Soleimani and Anahita Eqbalnezhad and Reza Behboudi. -‘ Breadcrumb’ is based on a play by Louis Calaferte-writer, novelist,poet,playwright , born in Turin 14 July 1928; died 1 May 1994.The play is a story of a middle-age couple that do daily routine works. Their lives have a Lack of passion and hope, but after some events that happens in their neighborhood, their life become exciting.

Shahla Haeri translated the play to persian. Koroush Soleimani is a cinema and stage actor and director.

He said about the show with a few characters, which is likely to make the audience tired:”  One of the hardest things is directing and acting  in  two  characters plays. “

Koroush Soleimani worked in two characters plays previously.

He confirmed:” The contract with Death was also a two characters show that I played In this type of work, it is very difficult and difficult to maintain the rhythm, focus, and mentality of the audience towards what is the purpose of the work.”

Reza Behboudi is a right choice for the role, he’’s acted in this type of role. Koroush Soleimani said:”He is a great actor. Anahita Eqbalnezhad is a great artist, too.”

Louis Calaferte isn’t a well-known author in Iran. He explained:” The author is not known in Iran; but in France, he is so familiar. The subject of the play, which served as middle-age and indifference, became my only concern, and this summer I decided to direct it .”
