Iran Theater-Farjad Saaki’s “Letterwriter”  goes on stage at Ostad Mashayekhi Theater Hall.

“letter Writer” is based on A Lady of Letters, dramatic monologue written  by Alan Bennet.Bahar  Jahandoost  translated it to Farsi.

A Lady of Letter is about  rene Ruddock. She is a single, middle-aged woman living near Bradford and is not afraid to speak, or rather write, her mind. She frequently writes to her MP, the police, the chemist – everyone she can, to remedy the social ills she sees around her. Irene becomes suspicious of a neighbouring couple whom she suspects of neglecting their child, and tries to raise these suspicions to her doctor, who instead offers her a prescription (presumably some kind of anti-depressant or anti-psychotic medication) to help her forget her worries

Sheila Ghayoor as  actress, Mohammad Reza Rahimi as director consultant, Siavash Kiani Rad as the stage designer and lighting designer, Mansour Pasandide as Costume designer, Javad Jorbanian as composer and singer,  Hasti Ghayor as make-up designer  and  Sahar Radnezhad as poster and brochure designer will cooperate . “letterWriter” has been on stage since Jan. 21.
