Iran Theater- The library and documentation center of Theater Forum opened With The presence of  Shahram karami.

 

Director board of Theater Forum named The library and documentation center of Theater Forum in the memory of Rokneddin Khosravi,the late stage director

 

The Theater Forum coincides with the birthday of Professor Rokneddin Khosravi  named library and document center after this late artist of performing arts.

The ceremony  was held with the presence of Shahram Gilabadi,Shahram Karami and theater artists on March.7 at Theater Forum.

Shahra Gilabadi, The CEO of Theater Forum said:” He is not forgotten and so popular that when he is not physically present, he brings us together.”

Iraj Raad, chairman of the board of director of Theater Forum said:” "I think he is alive and his legacy continues. His students not only repeat Khosravi, but also what they have learned to present and complete in new circumstance, and continue theater as the same way as  of Rokneddin Khosravi.” 

The library contains 14,000 books and journals in Persian and other languages. About 11,000 copies of it have been donated by Roknoddin Khosravi during his lifetime.

On Wednesday, March 6 Simultaneously with the retrospect of this great theater artist, the library and documentation center opened.

The ceremony  took place at Theater Forum located in Somayeh S.T.
