This year we will be paying more attention to help artists

Iran Theater- The Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance ,Seyed Abbas Salehi with Seyed Mojtaba Hosseini, art deputy of the Minister of Culture, Shahram Karami, Director of the Performing Arts center, Seyed Hossein Seyzadeh, Managing Director of the Art Credit Unions, attanded at the meeting of the board of directors of the theater Forum.

At the meeting  Salehi said: “This year we will be paying more attention to help artists.”

He added:” We went to the artists house in the past years, but this year it has given us a chance to visit the art guilds center and I am glad to visit Theater Forum as the first one, and hopefully this dialogue and interaction will continue to grow as the theater symbolizes the cultural development of the country.”

During this meeting, Seyed Abbas Salehi addressed issues such as the role of theater in society's growth and  community excellence.

Also, the members of the Board of Directors of the House of Theater expressed their views. Behzad Farahani said: "These days  we are not   happy, I suggest the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance to equip theater groups to run   performances  in four flood-hit  provinces, because it sometimes helps to laugh and rejoice during the calamity.”

The meeting ended with Iraj Rad's request  from  ministry to register the theater Forum  as a  guild to improve the status of the artists.
