Morteza Khamseai passed away

Iran Theater-Morteza Khamseai,the last survivor of  Kheimeshb bazan Qajari passed away.

According to Iran Theater, Morteza Sheikh Ahmad Khamsei is the son of Ahmad Khamsei and brother of Reza Khamsei, who began to learn this art from his father when he was 4 years old.

Ahmad Khamsei, known as Haj Ahmad Khamse, is one of the greatest and most influential puppeteer artists in the history of Iranian theater, and for many years, along with his two son, kept this art alive.

After the death of Reza Khamsei, his brother Morteza was the only survivor of this Iranian  art form of the khamse family who, despite the disease and the hardships of labor, continued performing.
