In Akvan Div, which is a romantic comedy show based on Shahnameh, the characters try to survive in the story and want to convince Ferdowsi to write more for them. These people are faced with an identity crisis, each with different approaches to achieving their goal, and Ferdowsi should choose the best of these characters.
Abbas Abdolahzadeh says about the new structure of his shows:” If we do not find a new way of communicating with the audience, it will cause the audience to come and watch a show that has already seen similar, and they lose their interest.”
In his view, Iranian old stories are fascinated.
“When we choose the old stories, we are faced with the issue that we have not yet fully linked it to the audience, and in some cases the audience rejects these types of work. I'm always looking to find out how to create this type of relationship.”
