Reza Kianian: The Fadjr Theater Festival needs a national and international division

Iran Theater- The "Pathology of the Fadjr International Theater Festival" meeting” takes place on 9-11 May."Pathology of Fajr International Theater Festival"  was held in the presence of various experts in six titles.

During the meeting Reza Kianian, veteran stage and cinema actor  was one of the expert that made an speech. Regarding the identity of the international approach to the festival, he proposed some suggestions and said: "One of the important steps in this regard is the division of the national and international section of the festival. This has happened for several years in the Fajr Film Festival, and I think it has been a successful process. The international section of Fajr Film Festival has somehow managed to introduce itself as a cultural setting. We see foreign guests coming to Tehran to attend the festival are very inclined to not limit their visit to the festival, and they go to visit  cultural sites of the capital, including museums . If this separation is also carried out at the Fadjr Theater Festival, our theater development will be much more.”

 Another Expert ,Mohamad Ali khabari said:” We previously had a center of performing arts, which has now become a department. ; Hence, it is larger than before and should cover the theater of the country. one approach to the festival is that we can maintain the status quo anyway, and the other is to upgrade the situation. If we keen to develop theater in the country, we must provide the appropriate infrastructure for it.”

Ehsan Zivar Alam was another lecturer. Referring to the need for international cultural interactions, he said: "Over the years, we have been witness to discussions and understanding among the representatives of the countries that have been forgotten or not followed after the festival is over."
