At the beginning of the ceremony, Ali Dehbashi, editor-in-chief of Bokhara magazine, said: "First of all, I would like to thank Mr. Farzad Farah Vashi, who was his suggestion this night. He has done some research on Mr. Serkisian, who will see some of it during the ceremony. Another point is that in what could be said at this meeting, we may not be able to address all aspects of Shahin Serkisian's life and activities, but in any case, it is a beginning to talk about him who was one of the most famous cultural figures in Iran and many research has not been done on him.”
Iraj Raad said:” Serkisian had seen various theaters in France and had some training in this regard, and he was trying to present what he learned to people who love the theater.”
Lida Babarianc , art researcher talked about him as well. She said:” Shahin Serkisian was very fond of Chekhov, and said the end of The Cherry Orchard was a masterpiece. “
Shahin Sarksian was the founder of Iran modern theater. He was born in Varna, Bulgaria from an Iranian Armenian father and Bulgarian mother .
