In their meeting, Drago Stambuk said that Iran is a country of poetry and music.
Iran is not just the land of poetry; it is the land of musicians and singers. A nation of poetry, literature and art is stronger than any restrictions and sanctions. The country of Croatia is also in conflict and Iran has helped our country and we will never forget this aid.
I am glad that the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, the Minister and the Assistant Director of Art Affairs, have a positive opinion on Croatia's proposal for cooperation in the field of art and music, and I hope that the band from Iran will attend the Croatian International Folklore Festival.”
Seyed Mojtaba Hosseini, deputy director of art affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, said: “Iran has colorful and inspirational music due to history, culture and climate. The musical genre of the regions of Iran is an event that expresses the diversity of music in the regions of Iran.”
At the end of the meeting he said:” The Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance welcomes the enhancement of engagement and cooperation with the Croatian country in the field of art and music, and we hope that, given the low chances of the band from Iran, it will also be coordinated to attend the Croatian Folklore Festival.”
