Anton Chekhov’s “Marriage Proposal” to be read

Iran Theater-At Arasbaran Culture Center ,A one act play “marriage Proposal” by Anton Chekhov will be read on stage.

A Marriage Proposal (sometimes translated as simply The Proposal) is a one-act farce by Anton Chekhov, written in 1888–1889 and first performed in 1890. It is a fast-paced play of dialogue-based action and situational humor.

The story is about a man who entering his neighbor's property and ask his daughter’s hand.

Hesam Kalantari directs the show and Masood Baharloo, Somayeh Abadeh, Hamid Fotoohi, Shima Mirmehdi act in the play reading.
