The play “Neruda's Postman” is written by Antonio Skármeta , a Chilean writer that translated to Farsi by Alireza Koushk Jalali.
This classic novel established Antonio Skármeta’s reputation as “one of the most representative authors of the post-boom generation in contemporary Latin American letters” .Boisterously funny and passionate, The Postman tells of young love ignited by the poetry of Pablo Neruda. Set in the colorful, ebullient years preceding the Pinochet dictatorship in Chile.
Alireza Koushk Jalali (born March 21, 1958 in Tehran, Iran), is an Iranian theatre director and playwright. Currently he resides in Cologne, Germany, where he also made his first German production in 1986.
