The Call of the first professional Mime Festival to release

Iran Theater-The first professional Mime Festival will take place in Tehran.

According to public relation of festival the call for the festival was released.

The first national specialized festival of pantomime, called "payghah", has been designed and developed to improve the quality of Iranian theater and cinema actor and actress. The festival is scheduled for the first time in a specialized form, hosts casting deaf-mute pantomime throughout the country. It will also be a commitment to maximize the audience and the use of young, committed, and talented people in order to create social vitality.

The festival will feature in its five main trends: Mime Drama - Mime Syracuse - Mime Musical - Mime Folklorico – Mime Nicarel, host to twelve professional pantomime groups (eight hearing groups - four deaf groups) from across the country.

Hamed Nasrabadian was selected by the Association of Culture, Art and Architecture as the head of the festival.
