Rasoul Najafian: I'm faithful to what I've seen with art pioneers

Iran Theater- Rasoul Najafian, the actor of the show "People, Stories, Songs," says: "During these five decades, I have been involved in various fields such as theater, cinema, television, poetry and literacy, and during this long period I have been involved with many pioneers and veteran artists. I tried to present a good source of information for the younger generation by narrating these memories and a kind of chronicle of contemporary social history.”

Rasoul Najafian has a calm, seductive, subtle soul with poetry sensitivity and a beautiful voice. In the play “ people, stories, songs” he plays as  an actor, singer and musician. He has a sense of nostalgia for us as well as influential people. He exasperated our sense of nostalgia for the past and influential people of Iranian art. He is a graduate of the Anahita Theater School and taught music with Master Ismail Mehrtash.

About this show, He said:” In the meetings with Kamran Shahlaie, I always talked about my memories and my companionship with the pinorees and veteran artists. Sometime later, he offered me a dramatic performance based on these memories. The structure of the show was formed on the basis of audiences participation . I was supposed to present it in the form of a movie.”

About the story of the show, he continued:” Every night, according to the audience's request, the story is different. Last night, someone had come to see the show and had some general questions about a piece of music and I answered the questions. In general, the performance style of this show is based on the viewer's opinion and view.”

He said about his philosophy in life:” I am among the people who do not make life so much hard. However, the study of the poems of poets like Khayyam affects the morale and human worldview.”
