Marguerite Duras’s “La Musica Troisieme” to go on stage

Iran Theater-Jalal Tehrani directs “La Musica Troisieme” which is based on Marguerite Duras’s play with the same name.

He works in the show with two actors selected from among the students of  Maktab Tehran .

After two years -Jalal Tehrani will direct a show at Maktab Tehran Hall.

After a three year separation, a couple meets in the hotel where they lived when they first fell in love, but this time it is on the eve of finalizing their divorce decree.  As night falls and their conversation unfolds, the depravity and hunger of their love is revealed: the infidelity, the violence, and an intent to kill.

Writer Marguerite Duras describes these characters as being torn apart by the evil forces of passion, a passion that both nourished and destroyed their love.
