Conservatory schools are a major focus of art education

Iran Theater- The deputy minister of art affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance sent a message to 100-year art education program in Tabriz.

Deputy of Art Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance Seyed Mojtaba Hosseini wrote in a message on the occasion of one hundred years of art education that started in Tabriz :”Throughout history and time, art has recorded names, institutions, and schools that have played a lasting role in the memory, and this prolific role deserves reflection. Fine art schools have been the main focus of art education in the last century and have shone like gem during the art education of this land. One hundred years of conservatories reflect the culture of friendship and civility and the importance of education in this country.”

“Reviewing the work of artists who learned art at conservatories and later continues to work; it highlights the status and influence of art schools, Conservatories that link art education to knowledge and worldview and pave the way for young people's creativity and ingenuity to be supported by yesterday's knowledge are also defined as effective models of art education.”

One hundred years of art education and activities of Mirk Conservatory begins with the exhibition of works by prominent artists graduated from Mirk Conservatory, art workshop, film screening and performance and closes on 15 August in  Tabriz.
