Street theater is born of the wisdom and humility in theater

Iran Theater-Sayed Mojtaba Hosseini, deputy director of art affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, sent the message to the the 14^th Mariwan Intl Street Theater Festival.

In his message he wrote:” Street theater is born of the wisdom and humility in theater.  It’s an unauthorized confrontation with audiences who, in a little time, can even learn from a dramatic and uninterrupted performance. The theater is committed to praising the truth and blaming the wrong. Street theater is redefined as a duty-bound citizen who strives shoulder to shoulder with people, seeking for joy, peace and awareness. The manifestation of this association is the Mariwan Street Theater Festival. Mariwan is a city that is famous for the nature of the mountains of "Kurdistan", Iranianism and otherness. The festival is so cleverly intertwined with the people of this ancient land.”
