I presented the evolution of the character of the play in a dramatic way

Iran Theater-Ashkan Khatibi, well-known  stage and Cinema actor has acted  in  the play “pablo Neruda” by antonio skarmeta.  He’s played as Mario. Ashkan Khatibi said about his character:” A simple, low-educated rural youth, he is trying to change his situation. His evolution throughout the story is very dramatic, and from the point of view of Neruda, this postman has a new look at life and love”

Ashkan Khatibi is a musician and translator as well.Alireza Kouchk Jalali, famous stage director and playwright translated the play.

The play illustrates the life of the Chilean people and how they relate to Pablo Neruda and his poetry, a poet who teaches love

Ashkan Khatibi said:” This is our fourth collaboration with Alireza Kouchkk Jalali in this regard as well. The hero of the play is a young illiterate postman named Mario, who works in a small village, but his only client is the poet Pablo Neruda, who has been deported to the village. He is influenced by Neruda's thoughts and becomes a revolutionary and libertarian poet as he continues to develop a friendly relationship until Neruda's death.”

He believed :” Every  audience can have their own point of view. The play, on the other hand, is a work of praise for love and life; This praise comes from showing a close relationship between Neruda and the young postman.”

About the colloberation with Alireza Kouch Jalai ,he said:” we have known each other for ten years and  we have worked with each other in four plays, Therefore I know what Alireza Kouchk Jalali wants from me, and it is not difficult to match my  performance to his wishes. Here, he specifically emphasized the simplicity of Mario and showing it in my performance.”..
