Anton Chekhov’s “Swan Song” has gone on stage

Iran Theater-  Two new shows , "Today is a Good Day to Die" by Kamal Hashemi and  “Swan Song’ directed by Parizad Saif  has gone on stage Since first of  September  at Iranshahr Theater Complex.

 

The play “Swan Song” is based on Anton Chekhov’s play with the same title. Parizad Saif and Saeed Poursamimi  are the main cast. One of the highlights of the opening night of the show was the remarkable welcome of young audiences to watch Saeedpour Samimi on stage after 17 years.

Morteza Keramati,Mahmoud Behrouzian and Serouj Estapnian translated the play to Farsi.

Hadi Badpa  as Stage Design Consultant, Shaida Zawari  as Costume Design Consultant, Saeed Mohebbi and Kambiz Banan as Assistant Director, Bahar Khaleghi  as Scene Secretary, Mohammad Kian Esmaili  as Scene Manager, Afsaneh Gholizadeh as make-up designer, Mohammad Sadegh Zarjoian  as Graphic designer and Photographer, Masoud Rafi zadeh as  teaser maker and Aida Orang as public Relation will cooperate.

"Today is a Good Day to Die" by Kamal Hashemi is on stage at Samandarian Theater Hall.

Mona is a battle0scarred girl who lives in an empty house in the wake of her adventures. Yalda, who immigrated with her family to another country during the war, comes to Iran to sell her father's house. She decides to visit the house for the last time and shoot a movie. She meets Mona at home. Mona is a good subject for her film.

 The cast include Shiva Fallahi and Sara Sajadi
