The show “Karim Lozhi” has been on stage at City Theater Complex. It’s written by Mehran Ranjbar and acted by Majid Rahmati.
The director says: "Karimi Lozhi" is a collage of different play styles that we tried to flip to the theater audience by creating a new space to know that Iranian plays have a lot of capabilities that are not limited to Shabih Khani, Naghali and puppetry show. It has many values that embody valuable practices in acting and playwriting.”
He addes: Mahmoud Ostad Mohammad, Akbar radi, Abbas Nalbandian, Gholamhossein Saa edi are some of the most valuable Iranian dramaists who in their lifetime had a great influence on Iranian playwriting with the works they created, But now we are in a situation where, with few exceptions, such a crucial performance is in the limbo, while I believe that if we use this language properly we can create new conditions for Iranian theater that can certainly revitalize the valuable framework of such performances.
