Ta'ziyeh is one of the serious roots of religious theater

Iran Theater- During a visit of Exhibition “Be Ravayat Noskhe Khanan”,Mohammad Javad Haghshenas, head of the cultural commission of the Tehran City Council : "Taziyeh may be one of the serious roots of religious theater."

He added:” It was a very valuable exhibition and I would like to thank the artists forum and  Khane Theater . Paying attention to  Shabih Khani and  its prescriptions, which are treasures around the corner of libraries and some old houses, are a worthy piece of work today that is well presented, especially now that  it’s  Muharram month.

He continued:”I hope we have the space and the opportunity to have a museum for Taizeh in the city of Tehran, and the opportunity to celebrate this valuable and powerful tradition for future generations in the form of a dramatic and ritual space, because Taizeh is one of the branches  of  serious art.”
