Radio Theater is about familiarizing the audience with the play

 

 

Iran Theater-Majid Hamzeh, a pioneer theater artist believes that Radio Theater is one of the reasons why audiences are becoming more familiar with how radio shows (Radio Drama) are formed and produced.

He added:” I totally agree with radio theater and I like this kind of radio drama visually because in all of the seventy, eighty years that radio shows have been broadcasted and people have heard it, they didn't know much about how to produce it until It was performed as a radio theater for the public at various radio festivals.”

Majid Hamzeh said about the addition of the Radio Theater section to the 38th Fadjr International  Theater Festival: "It is good, but due to the limitations of the radio theater, it must be certain that the position of the sound desk, microphone and the hall provided to the radio artists. That means the audio system should not be broken and the light should be sufficient to assist the cast during the performance, and I hope that these facilities are well considered this year.”

He concluded:”There are some definitions for radio theater that I feel it is good for us to have a clear definition of this kind of performances itself, and it is better to have meetings on the radio headquarter to get results that are more better for theater.”
