Reza Babak to Be honored

Iran Theater- The press conference of the 26th Children and Young Adult Theater Festival

was held Tuesday morning, October 22, at the City Theater Complex.

Majid Ghanad, the secretary of the 26th festival of, Mehdi Ghaleh, executive director of the festival, Ahmad Reza Ehsani, director general of Hamadan province's ministry of guidance, and Roshanak Karimi, public relation spoke about the progress of the festival. Mohammad Reza Alvand, provincial theater co-ordinator, and Mojgan Vakili, director of international affairs at the General Directorate of the Performing Arts, were also present.

At the beginning of meeting Majid Qanad ,Secretary of  Festival said Majid Ghanad, secretary of the 26th International Festival of Child and Adolescent Theater, said :”Festival was a result of the efforts of countless groups. I appreciate these efforts, as well as the efforts of various secretaries in different edition of festivals.”

Mehdi Qaleh said:” Of the 31 participating provinces, 82 works were in the child section, 52 in the teen section, 66 in kid section, 55 in the playwriting sector, and 100 in the international section, including 8 in the street section, 8 in the street section. In the children's section and 7 works in the teen section, we have 7 candidates in the playwriting section, with 3 of them eventually being selected as works.

After reviewing , 8  works in the street section, 8 in the children's section , 7 in the young adult section and  7 in the playwriting section were chosed.

  Back then, 3 works will be selected as the winners.”

He added: poster of festival was designed by Shahram Azimi. This poster will be unveiled soon.”

Reza Babak will be honored at the 26^th   Children and Young Adult Theater Festival.
