Iran Theater-The Minister of Culture and Islamic Affairs emphasized the expansion of the scope of children and Youth theater to more fundamental issues.
The message of Seyed Abbas Salehi, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance to the 26th Children and Youth International Theater Festival is as follows:
The childhood world is a noble and universal place with all its elegance and sensitivity. The world has the deepest moments and the purest emotions. This realm and this world are all about the mystery and wonder that are the foundation and organization of tomorrow's human societies, so they have much valued .
Theater is one of the most important and dynamic arts for the child and adolescent to deal with and interact with the world around them and issues in order for the child to receive and believe in asking and thinking.
It is a pleasure to see the children and youth theater continue to be dynamic throughout the year and on stage. But the need remains for educational institutions to provide effectives shows in schools so that children and adolescents can interact with theater more effectively and in a more creative way.
The Childern and Youth International Theater Festival, after forty years of experience in organizing and displaying artistic creations by aspiring artists, has decided to extend its influence to even more fundamental issues.
"The Environment, Its Challenges, Opportunities, and Threats" is a vast issue ,That, of course, if children and adolescents strive to protect and preserve it deeply, the world will become greener, cleaner, and quieter tomorrow, and this is undoubtedly a benefit of the pure culture of the land that its people have always sought for purity, Peace and goodness for the world.
I appreciate the valued efforts of dear children and youth theater artists across the country and the presence and attendance of children and adolescents, the principals and aspiring performers at the 26th Children and Youth Theater Festival in Hamadan, one of the oldest cities in Islamic Iran.
